SANTA ANA (KTLA) -- Graffiti threats to kill Gov. Jerry Brown scrawled on Orange County walls are being investigated by both the California Highway Patrol and the Santa Ana Police Dept.
The messages were discovered Thursday afternoon spray painted on walls in Santa Ana and included a swastika along with the words "We gonna kill Gov. Jerry Brown 2/14/11."
The CHP's Dignitary Protection Section, which is responsible for the governor's safety, is heading the investigation into the criminal threat, along with help from the Santa Ana Police Department.
The Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center, which handles threats to government officials in addition to terrorist activities, was also notified.
