Ashton Kutcher Receives Approval to Shoot DMV Reality Show

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- All the excitement of the DMV, in the comfort of your living room.

No, you've not just been "Punk'd" -- Ashton Kutcher has already received approval to develop a new reality show inside the Department of Motor Vehicles.
The series, called "California DMV: Field Offices," is scheduled to run on cable network truTV.

The network's general manager call the show, which will film behind-the-counter staff as well as customers making their way through the lines, a "fast-paced, fun series."

Four episodes will be filmed initially with more to be taped if the show gets picked up.

Locations have yet to be named, but you can bet one of L.A.'s offices will be on the list.

The DMV will not receive any money for the filming.
