'Girls Gone Wild' Producer Arrested at Hollywood Hill Shoot

LAPD officers detained and released the producer over a lack of filming permit, the Los Angeles Times reported.

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, Calif. (KTLA) -- Police arrested a producer of the "Girls Gone Wild" series Wednesday on suspicion of filming without a permit at a home in the Hollywood Hills, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The producer, who has not been identified, was detained on a misdemeanor charge of commercial filming without a permit. He was released on the scene -- a home on Vulcan Drive where a "Girls Gone Wild" production was being, a police commander told the Times.

About 30 people were involved in the shoot, the official said.

The home had been rented by a man who was apparently subletting it to filming companies, the Times reported.

The arrested of the "Girls Gone Wild" producer had nothing to do with the nature of the production, but only stemmed from the lack of a permit, the commander told the Times.
