PHOENIX - More than a hundred protestors were separated by police Saturday in downtown Phoenix.
The riot happened Saturday afternoon when the National Socialist Movement began its march in support of Arizona’s controversial immigration law.
ABC15 crews at the march near Jefferson and 8th streets say two dozen neo-Nazi’s clashed with more than a hundred people who opposed the group.
Crews say police used tear gas to move protestors when rocks were thrown and yelling began between the two groups.
After the group of people opposed to the neo-Nazi march were moved, the march continued to the federal courthouse.
Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson said no serious injuries were reported among the protesters and none were arrested.
Members of the National Socialist Movement have marched in Phoenix against illegal immigration and in support of American workers regularly in recent years.
