Amanda Bynes' Doctors Extend Psychiatric Hold
Amanda Bynes' doctors have extended the actress' psychiatric hold for another 30 days, TMZ reports.
Amanda Bynes' increasingly erratic behavior: A timeline
Bynes was due in court today where her parents are requesting a temporary conservatorship, but her doctors determined she was not well enough to leave the hospital. Instead, a judge visited Bynes at the hospital and extended her psych hold for another 30 days. A judge can only give such an order if the patient is "gravely disabled as a result of a mental disorder."
Bynes' parents are still pursuing temporary conservatorship, which will also give them control of the actress' finances.
