Gas Leak Prompts Evacuation of Local High School
SANTA ANA (KTLA) -- Student at Century High School are being evacuated due to a gas leak.
Santa Ana Unified School District police chief David Valentin says the leak is coming from a construction site on the school grounds.
Gas company workers are at the school at 1401 S. Grand Ave. trying to shut down the leak.
Meantime, as a precaution students are being be bussed to Villa Fundamental Intermediate School, about a block away at 1441 E. Chestnut Ave.
One student was overcome by fumes and was treated at the scene.
