LOS ANGELES -- The Sheen saga continues Tuesday, Radar Online, confirms that Sheen's twin boys with estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, have been taken from his home in Sherman Oaks.

Police reportedly removed Sheen's kids from his home by way of court order, but the LAPD valley division and central media both deny their involvement with the kids.

The children are supposed to be returned to Sheen's soon-to-be ex, Mueller.

Meanwhile, Sheen has tweeted: "My sons' are fine... My path is now clear... Defeat is not an option..! "

TMZ.com reported, earlier Tuesday, that Brooke Mueller filed for an emergency restraining order in the L.A. County Superior Court with no notice to Sheen.

The restraining order prohibits Sheen from having any contact with Mueller or coming within 100 yards from her.

This real life family feud between the actor and his ex comes just after Sheen's very public rants and ramblings.

Charlie told TMZ he was considering getting a restraining order against Brooke because of her erratic behavior.

Brooke reportedly tried earlier in the day,Tuesday, to get police to take their twins away from Sheen, but was unsuccessful at the time.

The issue of custody of the twins was raised in court, but they are not mentioned in the order.

Los Angeles police Tuesday night responded to Charlie Sheen's Mulholland Drive mansion after receiving a call from a security guard that the actor's former wife, Denise Richards, had arrived at the residence to check on their two children.
The children were not removed from the residence and there was no report that they were endangered, according to two Los Angeles Police Department sources familiar with the call.
"My sons are fine... My path is now clear... Defeat is not an option...!" Sheen posted on his new Twitter account late Tuesday.
In recent days, Sheen has held a series of headline-grabbing interviews after CBS canceled his show, "Two and a Half Men," for the remainder of the season. Speaking to ABC, CNN and other news and radio outlets, Sheen ranted about having "tiger blood" in his veins and called his bosses "knuckleheads" and "AA Nazis."

The 45-year-old actor has long had a reputation for reckless behavior. He allegedly threatened his second wife with a knife, has been to rehab and landed in a hospital emergency room in January.
